I have been told that it is a good idea to build an air stack with 10 interceptors, 10 tactical bombers, and 10 attack bombers, like this one:

Is it good to build these stacks?

Yes, and level them up in the late game. The other planes will serve as meat shields so your powerful planes don’t take as much damage.
It certainly has its pros and cons. On one hand, it would be expensive to build. But it would be flexible too since you’ve built interceptors, tactical and attack bombers.
When I play allied doctrine, I usually focus on primarily interceptors and tactical bombers. I would also work to get more, but that would depend on the opposition on the map too.
That also depends on your activity levels. I find tanks easier to deal with on the ground. Unless you’re dealing with large stacks of light armor, attack bombers are not that useful to me. However they do well against ships, in a pinch.
Keeping all 30 units in one stack is a little overkill as only the ten best deal damage. On the plus side, it will spread the damage and keep your units healthy longer.
Attack bombers are useful against armor loving opponents, especially if you’re not using regular artillery. Armor units, especially heavy armor usually have lots of HP, so if you don’t have arty and you don’t have ABs... watch out.
These kinds of questions always leave me scratching my head.
Is this stack good..... for what?
Are you trying to fight stacks of interceptors for air superiority? Patrol with 3 stacks of interceptors. Save your bombers.
Are you trying to destroy a stack of artillery? Send in the tactical bombers.
And so on for attack bombers. Why send all the planes on every mission? There are more useful things you can do with them. And if there aren't more useful things for your attack bombers to do, other than serve as meat shields, then why did you build them? And invest all that time in the research? You could have more + higher level planes of the type you actually need!
