Is it possible to join Maps after 3-4 days, when someone leave?

Do you really want to join a map with your country under attack from all sides? Even if they check for war status, you could end up surrounded by players who have been developing their armies for several days. Your starting army would be outclassed. Sometimes joining a map as little as an hour or two after it opens can mean an early loss.

It used to possible, I'm not sure if it still is. For the reasons zoom mentioned, it is highly impopular though I could imagine some reason in roleplaying games.
