Is it useful at any time to keep an inactive in your coalition?

Say its a W@W and your coalition of 4 members has about 80% of the required VP to win. There is another coalition with 3 members that has about 500 VP less than you. You and another player with a 7 KDR are the two best players in your coalition. There is a 3rd (good) player and a 4th (okay) player. All of a sudden, the 3rd player goes inactive. Now, what would be the best course of action here: Keep them in the coalition and risk an enemy nation attacking them and taking their land, or kicking them from the coalition, and attacking them so that your coalition can get their land before the other coalition gets to it?

In this situation, I would keep them in the coalition for as long as possible. That way, you can focus on the real enemy, whilst you also have bonus VPs for the coalition. As well as this, it means your enemies will be wasting resources - they’ll have to fight you and the inactive.

In contrast, if you kick the inactive and invade them, that’s wasting time AND you’re forced to fight your real enemies as well as wasting troops on your coalition teammate.

Added to all this, there’s always a possibility of your teammate coming back!

Have a blessed day <3
