I once played as Manchukuo and I was able to ally with Japan and take Mongolia, Xinjiang, etc and get a coalition win.

Is manchuku even worth it?
When ever I play as manchuku I always get invaded by the russians or japan. How can I survive and win a a game as them?

diplomacy,make allies with russia and Japan so you have time to build up.

As the others have said, try to make allies with them, and get as strong as possible to make sure they ally you, or work with other minor countries in the area to survive and crush the Majors! Preferably one by one.
