I agree
Joining a game before you know your country
When I want to join a game, I need to know sonmething about it, such as, who else is in it and what country might be available for me to play. Maybe I want to be in south America in World at War, for example. I must first join the game before I can find out if there is an opening in South America. I've been told to just walk away. I hope this doesn't affect the game or my stats. It seems backward. You should be able to browse available games before deciding which one to join. Is there any consideration of this in the works? Thank You.

You can just close the tab in the country selection tab without choosing a nation. You can click the info icon in the top right of that match when browsing games in "new games" to see who's in the game.

My point is, you don't know if you will join the game or not, when you are required to click "Join Game" in order to find out. That's not right.
What you are saying is, you don't really join when you say "join", but once you choose a Country?
correct. unless it is a random selection map. if you join a map with country selection set to random, then you will be thrown in the game upon hitting join.
