Hey darrenrio,
great to hear that you love the game and that you spread the word in Korea. At this point I am not aware of plans to localize the CoW to Korean. However, this might change in the future, if we see sustainable demand for it..
Dear company. I am a Korean user who enjoys the game. I am so fascinated with this game that I personally promote the game to the Koreans around by me. Unfortunately, according to their evaluation, it seems like interesting game, but it is inconvenient to play because Korean is not applied. If possible, do you have any intend to translate the game into Korean? If possible, people who like this game, including me, can help translate it into Korean.

this is a good idea. I play in USA but it would be cool to have a Korea language and get more international players.
Great idea
This thread is two years old lol.
Callofwar needs more widely spoken languages instead of focusing on European ones.
totally agreed europe only has 500 million people and is the 6th largest continentClaudio von Panjim wrote:

thing is europe may not have the biggest population but it has a big playerbase for CoW
what about the other 7 billion people on earth tho?
like i said playerbase may not be as big as europe or na

Please note that COW is available in Japanese, Russian and Turkish which are Asian countriesClaudio von Panjim wrote:

Turkey: Considered European also but you can say it's AsianBMfox wrote:

Russia: It's Europe, majority lives their.
Japan, only Japan is the Asian one.
Spanish? South America and Latin America without Brazil. Yes, that's big, but not THAT big, not even a billion.
Portuguese? Goa, Portugal and Brazil, and some islands not at all much.
French? Considerable high, but only in France, very small population, rest of the world in very unlikely to play this.
What this game needs is, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Thai, Korean, Maybe Filipino? And Indo.
I've seen many people asking for some of these languages.
Czech? Literally Czech? Why? How much players do you get by doing that?
The majority of their land mass is in Asia not Europe. Saying that those countries are European is false. Also culturally they couldn't be more different.Claudio von Panjim wrote:

French is widely spoken in Africa but that's it.
Russia, by culture is significantly European, yes, most of Russia's land is in Asia, but not the population, by a landslide. Turkey... It's a mix a lot of people even live in their European side, so I count turkey as a half. "Culturally couldn't be more different" is completely false in Russia, but turkey is a little different but it's not what you said.BMfox wrote:

It looks like you don't know Russia that well: "Russia is a multinational state with over 190 ethnic groups designated[by whom?] as nationalities; the populations of these groups vary enormously, from millions (e.g., Russians, Tatars) to under 10,000 (e.g., Samis, Kets).[1]" Got that from Wikipedia. There's more different cultures in Russia than the whole of Europe. Russia is, well it's Russia and it's definatly not European.Claudio von Panjim wrote:

Talking about Turkey, It's an eastern country, it's a Muslim country and I frankly can't see what Europeans would share with Turks and Kurds which are their two biggest ethnic groups. Europeans probably have more in common with the most conservative Texan than with Turkey. It's not because Istanbul has a rich history as Constantiople, the capital of the Byzantium empire and is international, that this counts for the rest of Turkey.
Most Russians are European, even culturally, and those remote tribes aren't going to play callofwar. As for turkey, Some of it is in Europe, and a huge chunk of the population is, your statements are baseless
Even if I count turkey(asian part) and Japan, that's only 2 of Asia, so my original statement is correct, callofwar is focusing on Europe, I do think the languages I mentioned above do need to be added, rather than some other European ones.
