I've played this game on and off (mostly off) for many years, and I still have trouble understanding a certain map filter.
In the drop-down menu "Team Settings" there are four options:
1) All Team Modes (default)
2) No Coalitions
3) Coalitions
4) Free Teams
I would like to join a map where each player is assigned randomly to a Coaliion. Or, alternatively, when joining a map, each player must choose to be part of an existing, pre-defined Coalition.
I prefer the WaW 100 map. Is there a way to search for (that is, filter) and find a map with the Coalition membership criteria that I want?

EDIT: I am trying a map with the "Free Teams" menu option selected. This may be close to want I was trying to ask for. But I still invite comments from everyone.
No random game works like that, but there is an event round, that I think is called "Red vs Blue" or something like that, where there are 2 coalitions, and every player is randomly assigned to one. Also, there are predetermined coalitions on lots of other event maps, such as the Occupied America Map, and Endgame map.

Dawn of the Patriot is another one
The are very frustrating when your team mates go inactive though.
