Finish what you have started instead

The games that you can have at the same time are limited for exactly this reason. Players like you who are entering a game without thinking, play 15 games at one time and abandon most of them. By abandoning your games you ruin the gaming experience of other players.

A game is deleted from your archive, 14 days after that map has been won and has ended. So if you archive a map on day 1, it can stay on your archive for two months before it gets deleted.

The problem here, as @BMfox stated, isn't the game, but the player. That feature was added to prevent players from joining a massive amount of games and then leaving them in the middle of it. This ruins the experience of other players and is unfortunately quite common. If this gets fixed, then a majority of people would probably be angry instead of happy.
