Yesterday I bought gold and purchased a stronghold to defend, I am missing a rail gun. Thought I was at error but gold is gone. Today I thought 
X6 long rang bombarding plans, they all nowhere to be found also. Not fair. I cant pay again.
If the issue has something to do with gold, I almost always recommend creating a support ticket. This is a quite odd bug.
Check the newspaper. If noone killed those units this is critical bug, as it includes real money. Send a support ticket
It was not lost in battle. My home based pick is an Island in the middle of nowhere!
You still can get attacked by battleships?
It could have been killed by planes from air carrier, or by battle ship. That's why you should check newspaper
