When I play on the mobile version of the game, some games I play run perfectly fine on enhanced graphics on mobile. However, some games only work half the time, or never. When they dont work, they reload several times and then end up on low graphics mode. I want to play the game on mobile with enhanced graphics, but it only works half the time, any possible reason?

Not all devices of various ages and specifications are compatible with all of the enhanced graphics unfortunately. You may try upgrading your device operating system to a newer version. There is also a webGL troubleshooting thread which can give you a few websites to check your device with.

I tried the troubleshooting website on my phone's browser and the square was rotating, when I use the CoW app and turn on enhanced graphics it works sometimes but other times it doesnt. I have an iPhone 8, so Im confused as to why its not working

Think of plain canvas graphics as the “safe mode” which it defaults to when your phone is not able to handle the enhanced graphics. Are you possibly multitasking or running several apps in the background that are consuming your phone resources? An iPhone 8 should run enhanced graphics in most cases, although a larger map with a larger number of units to display may take more resources than your phone has available.

When I quit other apps it still doesn’t work, are there any specific settings on my phone I might want to adjust? Some maps do work, but sometimes its just random which ones work and which dont.

Hmmm, I'm definitely not an expert on this, so I would just say: try deleting and reinstalling the app. Most problems are USUALLY solved this way.

You should change your mobile browser may be. Google chrome on mobile has better perfomance for cow then for example firefox.

Unfortunately I don’t have any better advice for you at this point. We have not been able to determine a pattern. This issue does not affect other phones with identical specs to yours when testing, it does appear to be random which makes it very difficult to identify the issue so it can be worked on.

Hey there. This thread is a bit old, so hopefully, you've already found a solution to your mobile gaming issue. I'm not sure about the specific issue you're experiencing with your mobile game, but have you tried clearing the cache or updating the app? It could be a compatibility issue with your device or the app itself. On a different note, have you checked out Smart Engines for automatic document scanning and OCR?
