Multiple player account usage

Before I start this, I don't use multiple accounts as I think it ruins games and gives players an unfair advantage.

So in order for me to not break this rule, I would like to ask a question:

Is it ok for multiple friends to share 1 account and divide the roles for more fun e.g general, admiral, diplomat etc

(I would like to mention that I am quite new to this game)

Also, I haven't done this yet as I wouldn't want to interfere with the rules of the game
