If it's patrol, all under circle will obviously. If it's air bombing I think it's probably melee range (~5km) for both ground and sea, but maybe freezy will have better info.
mutually supporting AA from ship groups
How close do multiple groups of ships have to be in order to have mutually supporting Anti air? I guess this question also relates to ground forces with multiple groups and anti air?

- If the air unit is patrolling, you'd have to use one of your air units to get an idea of the diameter of an air patrol area.
- If the air unit is performing a targeted attack, the units have to be in the same stack.
A couple of us tried to experiment with very closely situated stacks, in which one stack had several AA, and we could not verify that the AA stack (the one *not* being targeted specifically) had any affect on air unit damage. Maybe if we had a stack of many more AA units, and a targeted stack with only one unit, we would have noticed something conclusively.
