I would like a 1918 map myself centered around Russia. 1918 so it is not quite Supremacy, and Civil War so a lot of interesting factions.

1942 : The problem would be three superpowers, three challengers and not much people having fun besides that.

China , Turkey , India , UK , Romania , Free France , Spain , USSR , Germany ,USA , Japan , Italy , Canada and many countries not only 3

Well...

India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, and many more were all British.

Free France was practically irrelevant (no offence to the french). It was built and funded using American and British resources.

Romania, Hungary, and Italy were more like Germany's "helpers" so to speak. Italy if anything actually damaged the coalition as it provided a path to the south of Germany opening up a 3rd front.

China was certainly not having a good time (rape of nanking, etc).

Turkey was still a relatively new nation still forming itself and had older WW1 forces.

Spain was dependent on British food shipments-this is what stopped it from declaring war in the first place.

So yes, having fun it was only really the US, the UK, the USSR, Germany, and Japan.

I think a cold war map would be interesting. Automatic coalition for warsaw pact and Nato. I did this in a 1939 accurate world map but the Soviet Union was way to weak to stand up to the rest of the superpowers in the world. In the new map a much stronger soviet union would have to exist plus a much stronger US.
