Yes it can. At the bottom of the unit description it will say "Cannot be intercepted" if it can't be shot down. The nuc bomber doesn't have this, the nuclear rocket does. The nuc bomber has 30 HP so if it takes 30 HP worth of damage before it reaches target it will die. Any unit that can fire at planes in the air can fire at the nuc bomber. Besides enemy planes bombing it or on patrol, I assume units at the target with anti-air capability will all get one round of attack. So, in principle about five lvl4 AA could take one out. Infantry etc can also contribute.

Can a Nuclear Bomber be Shot Down and how can it be shot

If's that's true than what's the point of Nuclear Bombers I would rather Build Rockets because they can't be shot down. So 2 or 1 AA Level 2 could beat the Nuclear Bomber
The advantage of nuc bombers over nuc rockets is that you can build them sooner and mobilize them much faster. But yea, you probably want to know what is there before you nuk it.
"the bomber will always get through" is the essential problem for the defender.
Sure, they can point defend a location with massive AA. For more coverage of a more extensive area, they need significant number of Interceptors.
Saturation of the Int defense just means two bombers on two different vectors toward two targets of similar value.
Saturation of the AA defense just means adding aircraft to the nuke bomber fleet. The nuc bomber (L1) has a range of 500km. The strat bomber (L3) that is needed to research nuc bombers has a range of 480km. Fly a few Strat bombers with your Nuc bomber and the damage gets spread around equally. The math on this does not help the defender. Two Strat bombers on the Nuc bomber attack requires a TRIPLING of the defensive force.
Sure, those rockets are nice but don't discount the bomber. The bomber will always get through (if you are willing to take a little pain).
What is the Point of a Nuclear Reactor and if you don't have one can you build Nuclear Bombers
And does the Nuclear Reactor have to be in the city were you build the Bomber
The reactor is required to build nuclear weapons and it does have to be in the city where you build unit. It is analogous to barracks for infantry etc. It can also be disabled. In the troop production tab of a province, if you click on the info (i) icon you can see the prerequisites for producing a particular unit.
In my experience, one an opponent realizes you have nuke bombers, he just bunches all his troops together and sticks at least 8 anti-air guns with each group.
Can you disable the Nuclear Reactor until you Build Nuclear bombs or I needs some time to operate
He can't have 8 Anti-Air Guns everywhere otherwise if he can I will use my Troops to destroy it easilyGitargy wrote:

He was using superior tanks and RRguns as well.
And yes, you can disable the reactor until you want to produce bombers.
Is it possible For a Nuclear Reactor accident or Explosion if its not taken care properly or destroyed
