Nuclear bombs do affect province morale, it will drop it to 0

Yes they do, there will be a -30 in radioactive contamination. Also it will also affect troops.

Trust me I've nuked stuff before, they do an incredible damage to troops around the 1k range, but struggles to get to that amount.

If you can show me a screenshot of a nuke not affecting morale then I will be truly surprised. I mean when the nuke hits, not a few days later.
