Nuke damage to hidden units

Suppose there is a level 4 militia hidden in a city. Nobody can see it. Nobody can hit it with planes or bombers. Suppose a nuke lands on the city. Will the militia get hit?

Have ever of you heard of something called industry?
Yep. And, thankfully, it doesn't require goods; whenever I run out of almost anything else it turns into a Catch-22 situation. Unfortunately no matter how industrialised I become it's never enough to fund the hordes of militia, light tanks and artillery (or occasionally infantry, medium tanks and artillery) I keep building.
has it ever occurred to you that you might not NEED to spam units as such, and that you should keep something in reserve for specialized units?
I always build my specialised units for the day first and then use up the rest on spamming.

Out of curiosity, what doctrine do you usually play? I learned my skills (such as they are) as Comintern and Pan-Asian, which may explain this particular aspect of my gameplay.

Pan-Asian is a better doctrine than Axis when played correctly and you cannot change my mind.

I tend to go for Allies/Axis whenever possible. I find they have more bite.

They do, but at the cost of literal cost for Axis, and unit moving time for Allied. I find both to be unacceptable trade-offs, although the Allied moving time not so much (I'm pretty impatient, especially when fresh from a Pan-Asian game).

Allied moving time gets made up for by the power of planes…

Axis is too expensive for my liking though. More units and higher level ones trump stronger ones in my eyes.

Agreed in both cases. I don't use planes often enough for it to completely redeem Allied in my eyes, though.

Large tactical/attack bombers stacks are very good counters to shoot and scoot tactics, especially if the enemy keeps the arty separated from the meat shield.

I've attached a screenshot of a nuclear bomber after it struck.Notice the distance of my stack compared to the German stack.I had a 7 unit stack and the German a 30 unit stack, after the blast I was left with 2 units and the German stack did not even get a scratch...why? I did anticipate that I would have casualties but so I thought the German stack would also just to soften it up.

Why did nothing happened to the German stack but mine got damaged?

Notice the spy symbol (the creepy guy in the raincoat and hat) on the enemy stack. It means this was your latest info, when you last actually saw that stack. Now it is out of your view, so you don't know the strength; the info displayed is actually outdated. you can rest assured, when you really spot it again, it will have taken a lot of damage (unless it moved away between the spy report and the atomic blast, of course, of course)

Thank you. When I returned to the game the stack was smaller and damaged.I managed to bring it down to two medium tanks only.
