I seem to be the only active player on the 2 games that I am playing, any advice as to how I win without having to play AI till the end ?

take them one at a time
you prob wont need to keep much troops in defense of your home provences
stick to one country at a time,
keep moral high
try take one strong nation, eg France, then take a smaller AI nation, meanwhile rebuild then Take Germany and Netherlands
