Partial Terrain

I was wondering about some territories that appear to partially have one terrain and partially have another. Krasnodar, for example, has mountains in the southern half, but in the northern half, with the city(the little circle that all the lines point to, I'm not sure what it's actually called) appears to be flat. Is this just a graphic thing or is that part not mountains? Will my commandos get the advantage in Krasnodar itself, or just the southern half?

Despite the appearance of some provinces being half one terrain and half another, I believe that a single terrain classification applies to the entire province -- check the province information pop-up and look for the terrain icon in the upper right-hand corner.

besides that, just look at the "fist power" calculation in the upper right on unit popup for commandos or other units affected by mtns and that will tell you how the prov is affecting their attack power.
