No, in fact, it's a normal part of warfare. They most likely used spies to intercept these messages and relayed it to you in discord. Keep conversations in discord to prevent spies from finding it.
You can only deploy so many counter-intel spies too. Spies are very effective and annoying for the enemy to deal with. Not much of a defense but form your own espionage offensive.
