People’s ranks getting “reset”?

Some of my alliance members are telling me that their rank got reset to level 1 and therefore they cannot join AvA games with a minimum rank. I’m assuming this issue can be fixed, but this AvA game is supposed to start in 6 hours and if they can’t join, my alliance may have to forfeit.
