I've seen some threads from years ago about some potential similar issues, but I want to ask and find out if this is still ongoing or a new problem?
Some Details:
100 Player Map
Playing as North USA
Units in question: Nuclear Carrier x1 and Tactical Bomber x10
Located off the coast of Nome, Alaska
I had the planes holding in a patrol over enemy territory from the carrier in 2 stacks of 5. I decided to go in for a quick kill and sent them both to attack. At this point, they diverted and immediately took off across the map, flying from their attack point in the Bering Strait , across norther Asia & Russia, finally disappearing. If I select my carrier, it shows the units are still allocated to it, though they are grayed out. I cannot see the planes anywhere.
I've tried to clear and refresh the browser cache a few times as has been noted elsewhere, no change to my units missing. On mobile, they are showing as a unit I can select within the ship stack, though they are not visible. It appears I can 'command' them, though no actions take place and they remain invisible.
Thoughts or how to fix? I've reported a bug within the game on this as well.

does the newspaper say anything about a plane squadron being destroyed? Or did you perhoas split the carrier from a larger stack, ive heard about some bugs about that.

No loss in planes
The carrier was sitting alone, a stack has since merged with it and there was no change.

When a game operator handles the bug report a server refresh may return the planes to the carrier.
