they either resigned or got banned, check for ban information in the newspaper

Players dissapearing
I have a question about players going inactive. In a current game I am playing two of my allies went inactive mid-day and I don't know why. What are some possibilities that could have happened? I have seen something like this once before where a player got banned day 1, but I don't think that happened to them.

There is a set amount of days before inactive players go AI, mostly 2 real-life days before AI takes control by the daychange. If they were taken out before that, they might have been banned for breaking rules.
