The question here is very important. Will we be keeping the AI and “having” them aligned with their respective faction in the RP? Or will we allow players to conquer them, and RP for them instead. This poll will decide the fate of the non-player AI nations from now on.

Arguments for keeping: Historical accuracy, AI might make things more interesting.
Arguments for conquering: More RP for players, AI won’t attack their faction (we have no way to force align them with you). Claudio finally gets to RP as the Saviour!
Edit: The AI can not be force aligned to your faction. While giving right of way and Share map may work for a bit as wars start happening it’s inevitable: the AI will attack players and have to be conquered eventually. The argument is now if it’s worth it to keep the AI for the chaos they cause and RP or if we should just cut out the trouble early before they have to many units.

I think that it would ruin a lot of possible roleplay if we removed AI, their randomness could be needed, plus I want to launch wars that are popular, e.g. if Germany invades Denmark, then even if they are in the same coalition, I want to roleplay about how the UK and the Press respond to this. Not to mention that it would be hard to decide who got which AIs and we can get AIs to like us.

We should Have all A.I's as neutral nations, and you can sway the A.I in your favor. It is less historicly accurate, but it is easier to manage.

Problem here is we have no way to do that. What will happen is that AI will never give share map (especially when people are fighting wars to claim land) and will eventually declare war and attack their side no matter what. It’s really either we only let this happen for randomness sake, or we remove it for ease.

Now that I think about it I do have to state that every AI will not be able to actually be aligned and have share map with you. Eventually they WILL attack you no matter what after a certain time and we can’t prevent that..

Nah, voted by accident. Also I'm not part of vote list. If you're asking for my opionion, AI is very dumb, but if you only get 25% of resources from conquering them, it might be more interesting to let them live and see whether they can be really annoying at the worst of times.

Yeah but that’s more of an issue. We’d need the AI to work with their faction rather than attack them idiotically, and killing them while they have 5-8 units would be better than when they build 50 and cause real trouble.
edit: Then again perhaps that’s needed to add to this, the chaos they cause may be fun. Though it would ruin as much RP as it makes.

Oh I already took care of who gets what. The issue of randomness is Belgium attacking France is just idiotic and wouldn’t make sense. If they attacked the enemy factions it would but it not when you’re attacking your own allies. Eventually the AI will turn on and attack players. I just think it’s better we remove them before they gain more units and cause trouble. Since there will be unit limits it will be a little bit harder to fight AI too.
