You also get popularity drops if you are allied with other nations which have low popularity (e.g. by fighting wars).

Playing as the USA in a 10 player scenario with two teams of 5.
On Day one my popularity is 67%
on Day Two it drops to 57%
however, I did not declare war on anyone, or change any of my diplomatic settings.
There was a rumor that training units would make this happen, but I have not trained any units.
I did build infrastructure, barracks and naval bases. But nothing else.
Anyone know what is going on here>

You said that fighting war will not influence morale in 1.5, can it apply to popularity as well? Or maybe having more than 2 war will affect your popularity and morale because no-one can end with high popularity and morale after many wars with different country.freezy wrote:

Being allies with unpopular nations lowers your popularity
Why does Russia Empire always have such high popularity?
