Production time for units

If you capture a city that is currently producing a unit does the production time change because you captured it What happens to the resources that it takes to produce the unit if you destroy it

As far as I know:

The production time will change to reflect the new morale and the new level of the building, if damaged

If you cancel production, you get resources back prorated to reflect percent complete. If you cancel a 50% complete unit, you get 50% of the resources back.

If I capture the Provence from my enemy then choose to cancel the production he started do I get the remaining resources or do they go to my enemy because he started the production

You get them

Including manpower. Which is the only way to transfer manpower between countries ;)

that's good to know captured some Mec. Inf. and Heavy tanks that was going to take 3 days to produce them I stopped production because I was worried about a counter attack

I often cancel units when the production building was destroyed in the capture. You don't know how far it was already completed though, so the return can be unpredictable.
