Ask to join their coalition.
They have nothing to lose. They get gold for finishing and victory points for stats.
Only reason not to accept you would be vindictiveness.

Question
So I'm out playing as the UK again. There are four active players left on the map, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and myself. Germany and Italy are in a coalition, and Sweden is almost conquered. Now the Italo-German coalition has set their eyes on me, and I can see that their troops are moving into position to attack me.
Their armies are superior to mine in every way. Higher leveled, higher damage output, etc. The only advantages I have are that I have a 41-stack of planes and I'm fighting on home soil. What should I do? This doesn't look good for me.

I also own most of North America and Spain.

Welp, I did two days ago. No response, just the troops moving into position...

Update: Even more troops moving in. Estimated 40 ground units which doesn't seem like a lot, but keep in mind that their air force is around 45 units and the navy around 25. I am doomed. I have 43 ground units, 43 planes and 15 ships.
I am rushing rocket fighters to the front to try and offer some resistance.
I might be able to seek refuge in my colonies in North America but it's a bit iffy.
My KD ratio is going to drop even further, but of course I'll keep fighting till the end
