Hi, I'm playing as the United Kingdom in my first game of CoW. Across the sea from me is France. He is an active players, he's built buildings, he's in a coalition (which will be a problem), but I scouted him with my planes and he has not made any units. Back in Britain I have 40 units ready to cross the sea and invade. Should I go ahead and attack him now or wait until day 4? Or maybe I should just fortify Britain and keep building units? What should I do?
By the way, France is level 2 and so am I. I'm playing on a Clash of Nations map.
Thanks!

hey, you probably are already over this game, but in case you are still playing and did not learn it yourself, the best option is to always be on attack. You grow faster, so your economy is better, so you get to produce more units, so you grow faster, so... you should get the pattern by now

Since France is active but has no units, strike now before he builds defenses. Use your 40 units to invade quickly, secure a foothold, and disrupt his economy. Waiting risks facing a stronger opponent. Strike fast!
