Quick Q&A Thread

What's the Quick Q&A Thread?

Well, it is a thread made exclusively for questions that are short in length and do not require very much explications. To be more explicit, the users post questions in this thread which are too short and don't treat very complex problems and that are not found in the FAQ.

Example: "What's the best way to beat an Anti Tank?"

This thread's objective is to reduce the number of threads in the Q&A subforum whose subject is a small problem.

Hello, i have thought about this stupid question for a long time now :D , Strategic Bombers, they have high strength against Urban provinces right? So my question is are strategic bombers good at making damage on the city or the troops in the city or both? ?(

Just the city, only okay against troops.

Well, it's vs. buildings, not the city itself. It can damage and destroy buildings like fortifications. Strat bomber is probably the worst unit in the game in my opinion. Most of the time, you want buildings in the best condition possible when you capture a city, it costs you rss to repair them. If the enemy is held up behind fortifications, then I suggest rockets. Rockets are worth researching anyway. Strat bombers only should be researched for nukes, assuming you get that far.

Not sure if it's been answered yet but planes, esp. tac bombers and inf. do a pretty good job vs. AT guns. Essentially any unit that isn't Armored class.

I've got a question. What are the effects/ duration of nuclear contamination after you've dropped a bomb on something?

The effects are lowered morale in and around ground zero (don't remember if it affects adjacent provs directly or just due to neighbor morale effect). I think it starts around -50% morale or so (don't remember exact value) and gradually increases over about a week.

So a constant garrison is a good idea to put down rebellions? Or does the negative effect slowly decrease over time and I just have to wait it out?

If morale drops below 35% you can lose the prov so probably good to put something there. The morale will go up or down as usual according to the net penalty. If you click the (i) icon next to Morale in prov summary you can see what the current morale penalties are. This also tells you if morale is falling, stable or rising.

Hi!

Army movement commands? (Sorry, i dont speak english, google translate. :D)

Is there a way to change your username? I'm speaking for both the forums and inside the game, just curious.

Message a mod and they'll do it for you.

The past is a foreign country.
