as far as i know, railroads can hit moving targets, just like artillery...
I never experienced that problem
Is it correct that railroad guns cannot hit and/or target moving enemy units? I know I have read statements to that effect in the Forum, but there is nothing about it on the RRG unit spec sheet. Can someone who has substantial experience with RRGs provide a correct answer? Thanks.

Artillery (grenades), including those of RRGs or warships, has no flight time here, it shoots and hits in the same moment (as with tanks etc.), so it makes no difference whether the enemy moves or not.
Answer is as always on the basis of own observations and therefore unofficially and without guarantee.
I thought you would probably know, Restrisiko. I have read several threads here in the Forum where players have asserted that RRGs cannot hit moving targets. . . . that's why I'm asking.Restrisiko wrote:

Where and when was it written that it's not possible?
Ok, it's at least 1 year back that I last used RRGs, but I know, that they had attacked attacking (moving) enemies.
Maybe meanwhile it has changed, even if I didn't know why it now should be different for RRGs than for e.g. battleships.
I think I will build a few new RRGs and test it ..

Finally, a moving target runs into the fire range of our RRGs.
What units there are exactly can not be seen yet, the target is in the field of view of our reconnaissance tank, but without the usual game reboot it is not to be recognized..

After the Relog we see a battleship and a carrier with 100% condition..
Without problems the moving ships can be selected by an RRG as attack target..
Then also the second RRG automatically starts to fire, and it's also immediately caused damage to the ships.
