Ranged units settings - aggressive

With ranged units set to aggressive do they then do damage to nations you share maps with or just non share map neutral nations?

They do not attack countries u share map with

Delmarva pirate-ripping, running and hiding.
Walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.
