Retirement ends the game with current standings.
Each player who is active when the game ends will receive rewards in accordance with their position. Inactive players will receive no rewards.

I am the only player active, if I click on renounce i win the game? Or it just ends?

One additional point:
If you are in a coalition you will earn a coalition win instead of a solo.
