yup, they're actually the most active traders these days.

yes, actually markets are made of AI

players rarely use the market for some reasons !

in fact, towards the end-game ... the market get to an imbalance since all Ai are out of the game.

Stock markets become practically useless late game. They need an update. I feel like Bytro sort of ignores the stock market when updating the game.

I was a lively place before the up-front trade fees were introduced. It has been mostly dead ever since.

Those fees do take quite a toll. Makes sense that people wouldn’t want to risk it, and then it becomes a feedback loop with less people using it as more people stop using it.

yeah

and why do i have to buy goods at 30 per uNIT

When you own 3 continents but still have to pay exorbitant prices so your army does not starve:

so relatable

Glory to the Union!
Glory to the Red Army!
Glory to the Revolution!
Marshal of the Forum High Command

Of course, because people abused it.

I rely on the stock market early, to be able to get industry up to level 5. Usually, I can purchase rares for under 6 after day 4 or 5..... Since I use Aircraft non stop..... the market allows me to build my forces early.... much faster than waiting for my economy to mature.

I continue to use the market as the game continues... since I usually build many basic units and wait to level them up.... so upgrades become very expensive when jumping 2 or 3 levels... without the market.... I would have to change my strategy.

If it wasn’t for that market I swear I’d

have at best 2/3 of the victories I have right now.

Yeah, people placed orders on the market when their (core) provinces were about to be looted, to "hide" their resources before the moment they lost it. The easy and fair solution would have been, of course, to include marketed resources in the lootable amount on conquest and cancel player's orders if their stocks fell too low because of it.

You can still prevent looting by handing your res to an ally and get it returned immediately after your city is taken, of course.
