Rocket battery destroys tanks!!
Not sure if this is a bug but I have just lost 3 light tanks whilst attacking a city where the rocket battery is still on the ground. How is that possible when they have no defensive capabilities?

You are in fact quite right about that. Ive noticed that it can be a viable, yet gutsy strategy to just leave air units grounded when a ground army charges in....provided you have some melee units yourself. The air units seem to help in their defensive mode, which means that they do even more damage (assuming a mixed group of tac/strat/fig etc)MontanaBB wrote:
@DxC: It's been a while since I have caught both enemy ground and enemy aircraft units at same location at the same time. As I recall, however, the enemy aircraft units were not converted into a defenseless aircraft ground convoy until the defending enemy ground units were destroyed. If memory serves, I believe I have witnessed enemy aircraft units fly away and escape in that scenario. Analogously, I would expect rockets could still attack in the same scenario. In any case, a single rocket strike should not kill three light tank units (60 hit points). Rockets are just not that efficient against ground units. I find it often takes two rockets to kill a single stand-alone infantry regiment. They do seem to be more efficient against large ground unit stacks than singles.
what I meant with above post, I have tried an experiment with this against a current foe. Too bad though, I wasnt online to see the results, but the newspaper seemed to indicate you have superjets when defending. Too bad the experiment was voided when the ground units were strafed by rockets/tacs (cant remember) and the rest turned into trucks.
