When I have shared maps with another player, sometimes I get an exact report on their cities and what facilities are in there and the level as well as what they are building. Other cities I get all ??? In some cases there is a unit there and some there is not. There seems to be no reason other than it is some random roll. If so I would like to know what are the random chances and when does it re=roll/
From my observations a ? in the production or construction area means that nothing is happening. Perhaps an X or a - would have been a more logical character to display.
There may be a difference in level of data between share map and share intelligence as well. I would have to experiment with that before I could answer that question in detail.
