Should I make 10-10-10-10-10 air stack?

Is it a good idea to make an air stack with 10 interceptors, 10 tactical bombers, 10 attack bombers, 10 strategic bombers, and 10 naval bombers?

Not really. Several reasons, but the most basic is why? Deploy each where they are needed. Attack bombers should be targeting enemy armor. Is it smart to group them with naval bombers to target ships? probably not. However attack bombers do have surprisingly good attack value against ships and can be used for that purpose in a pinch. Plus consider the speed and range differences. Interceptors are fast, strats are slow and have long range. Your interceptors won’t be able to actually intercept anything if they have strats slowing them down.

I’m all for grouping seemingly random planes together to extend the life of the ones you need by spreading the damage over the entire group, but you really need to consider the purpose of each group.

Just something to think about.

No, for several reasons.

1) Don't ever research that many types of aircraft. Two is my personal limit during most games, but 3 can be acceptable. Anything more and you're just shooting yourself in the foot in terms of research levels, production numbers, and air superiority.

2) I'm not in favour of stacking different kinds of aircraft, generally speaking. A lot of people stack interceptors with bombers to "extend their life" but it just damages the fragile interceptors and hurts your ability to maintain air superiority. If you want to extend the life of bombers, build more bombers.
