Should I wait for rocket artillery?

I am playing as axis Spain....

I was wondering if it was better to wait till day 5, ignoring normal artillery, and go straight to rocket artillery since I tend to consider it a lot better as I already have attack bombers and medium tanks in my plans.....

What do you think?

Definitely not. Let me elaborate.

Axis artillery is useful against all ground targets, even infantry. Since they deal an extra 10% damage, you can stack aroudn 3-4 artillery (early game) together to deal about 7 damage per hit to infantry. Since artillery mostly just costs goods, you can keep attack bombers for later (relatively, don't delay too much) and focus on artillery. This is especially useful in mountainous/hilly terrain. You shouldn't always rely on attack bombers since if the target has any sort of anti-air, you're screwed (also artillery does the most damage while keeping the best SBDE). While rocket artillery is also good, it costs too much (you need the food for motorized infantry and recruitment centers, while the rares are needed for planes) to be considered viable until around mid-game (day 10ish for world map). Medium tanks you have to wait till day 3, so don't worry too much about those until around day 4 (when you get enough rares so your economy doesn't fall).

Very well...thanks for your explanation
