Some questions -- Capital Rush, Operations

I'm wondering about the game mechanics of event "Capital Rush"

Apparently "taking your enemies' capital cities gives you a decisive advantage in war."

How does this advantage manifest itself:

  • Does the entire enemy country simply defect to me or is it a resources advantage?
  • If the former, will this include troops and resources or just provinces?
  • And what about doctrines? E.g., if I am playing as France and capture Germany's capital Berlin. Would defecting stay Axis with Allied appearance like ones in revolting provinces/captured productions, or would the stats become the same as in allied?

Also, what do the Operations symbols on new game rounds? What do those mean?

Aeroplanes are interesting toys but of no military value.

A pretty mechanical toy [...] the war will never be won by such machines.

Two answer your second question, that is telling you that two different operations will give you rewards if you join that map (look at game details to see which specific ones)
