There aren't SPGs, there are SPAs and SPAAs. It's most likely FP games only.

It's been mostly game upgrades like new buttons and an activity log. No new units as of the SPA update.

It's nothing special, basically things you've built, produced and provinces lost or captured are displayed in a calender icon you click on to view. Useful though.
