Day change. If you see something being destroyed randomly, gold is likely involved.

Thanks never thought about the gold thing but you are correct
Econ sab spies will give you benefits throughout the day, but not mil sab.
Can gold be countered with an counter Intelligence spy in the province
Gold cannot be countered.
Maybe that is something they could work on
if you gold a sabotage you should be able to Stop it with a Counter Intel Spy in that province
Good suggestion, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Bytro encourages use of gold and wouldn't want to reduce it's effectiveness.
But a golden counterspy. That's something I would pay gold for. Something that only counters other golden spies.
I don't think it needs to be a Gold Counterspy just imagine the effect of a golder using gold to destroy your airbase and he keeps getting captured by the counterspy
In that case canβt you just pull out spies before daychange so you donβt have to suffer from upkeep?6thDragon wrote:

You have to pay the upkeep regardless. Only difference would be the amount of upkeep if you change their mission. I almost never leave spies in the same position between day changes.Carking the 6th wrote:

Besides, the primary benefits purpose of the spy always occurs at day change.
What benefits exactly? Is production being reduced a bit? Iβve never heard of thisβ¦
Please ignore me. My apologies. I probably said too much. We've used that trick in competitive games but it's really a glitch in the game programming and my alliance would prefer to keep it unknown to the general public. If I post about it, others could use it against us or the developers could fix it.Carking the 6th wrote:

Or I'm just an idiot that doesn't know what I'm talking about. Feel free to imagine whichever situation you find more entertaining.
You're an idiot and you have now idea what you're talking about... case closed.
I shall bring it up to Lord Freezy⦠unless you pay a bribe!6thDragon wrote:

I think freezy probably knows about it already... it is just that that issue has priority "minus 1,502" on their development board.
In case you really want to know: when your econ spies reveal the buildings of a city, they will keep the city updated throughout the day... so you can also see when the target starts a new building somewhere over the next day.
After a little more thought and consulting with a few alliance-mates, we've decided hoarding knowledge of bugs to exploit isn't our way (but is shockingly common with competitive alliances).Carking the 6th wrote:

You can place spies in a city on econ sab missions. It'll show you what buildings are there. When it does, if any new buildings are built or upgraded throughout the day, you'll see that as well.
Once again, feel free to disregard this as the ramblings of an idiot.
Thanks, this will help me quite a bit.
