Stealthy Units???

I don't know if I am imagining this or not but it seems like it is becoming more difficult for my submarines to identify "convoys".

I literally just had a L5 submarine sink something without ever getting an ID on it. This was a stern chase sinking so there was plenty of time for the range to slowly decrease. I was watching every 5 minutes of so. One check it was still chasing with 4:30 to go. Next check the target was gone. I find myself searching the paper to figure out what I sank. I would like to say it is easy to figure it out but, there is actually enough carnage in the Atlantic right now that I am uncertain what it was.

Is it just me or has something changed?

Reoccurring bug, on both CoW and S1914.

Enemy units well within the visible range still appear with "?"

Happens with land and sea units.

Seems like it.

The range at which my subs are giving me intel seems to have dropped. Where before a unit inside the inner ring was clearly identified in count and composition, I am seeing units retain their "?" all the way into combat.

Very strange.

Has me looking at the tech tree to wonder if the other guy has been buying stealth.
