Hi, everybody. I'm a noob so I'm not sure about the market prices. How would you call a price good regarding buy and sell offers respectively?
For me:
Buying: Unit price 5-14
Selling: Unit price 6-15
However, it depends on the resources and the game itself. The prices constantly change in different games depending on the play style of the game
I've never seen sell offer with a price below 12 and a buy one above 10
It depends on the resource and point in the game. Food and metal are often more expensive and oil and rare are the cheapest. Goods can be expensive early but gets more reasonable later. AI are the ones who do most of the trading. So usually you can find good deals start to appear on days 4 and 5 when the AI starts to take over for players who went inactive.
Also consider the margin between buy and sell price. When you want a resource which is sold at, for example 14 (which is overpriced imho) but is bought at 5, it can really be worth it to put a bid in at 6. Of course it will take a while and there's not even a guarantee that you'll actually get them, but pretty often you do, and you made yourself a bargain)))
It can just depend on the situation. Say I have 80k rare materials and I'm not building anything which requires them, I'm happy to put a sell order in for 60k of those for 3.3 each. They'll get snapped up quickly, and you've sold your useless resources for a profit which could be used on spies etc.
It goes the other way too - if you have 2k food and need them for all the units you build, it may be tempting to go for that 19 sell offer in the market, but ultimately resources are essential and you'll rarely run out of money.
That's just to low for me. Those rares will be used to build the very same bombers and rocket artillery that are going to kill my troops.SamPGS_17 wrote:

Thatβs fair, maybe itβs just me not thinking about the consequences - out of sight, out of mindK.Rokossovski wrote:
