Strategic Bombers not dealing damage

Hello, I've played this game for a while now but only gotten hold of strategic bombers recently. I used my bombers on lone airbases but it seemed to not deal any damage. All I saw was the province's morale drop by a bit. I have 2 stacks of strategic bombers at 4 and 5 units. Can anyone tell me what's going on and maybe help me understand how to use them properly?

I'm sorry if you don't get me correctly, but what I meant was that these strategic bombers of mine won't deal any damage to a building for some reason.

There is the X-Factor. There should've been some damage but if might be 'rebuilded' next time you bomb.

are the buildings your trying to bomb, still in your line of sight to your units? you might be seeing outdated information.

If the target is too far away, you wont be able to see whats going on. in the modern military lexicon, you should fly a sortee for a bomb damage assesment and see what happened

Or just keep bombing and it will be dead by then. Just send it after you bombed it for a long time. Not every time

if outside the range of your units viewing ability, after all none of your guys are psychic
