What is a good strategy to use submarines?
in my personal opinion use battleships with sub so you can detect subs and still defend the sea's at the same time with more attack and defence
You can't spot subs with subs
My favorite strategy is to build stacks of 10 and use them to sink strong battleship/cruiser fleets. Those are difficult to fight with naval bombers because of the cruisers' AA defense.MuhammadQahria wrote:

Of course, if the enemy doesn't have AA cover and their battleships are in range of your air bases, then stacks of naval bombers are the way to go.
Some people like to combine subs with surface ships, but in my opinion that's a waste, because that's a waste of the stealth potential of your subs. Better to pin down the enemy fleet with subs, and THEN bring your ships into range to rain fire on the enemy fleet while it's busy with the subs.
