Like KrestelGaming said a province is "annexed" Once you capture it, that being said you cannot core any province that wasn't one of your cores to begin with.

well you should be able to i don't know why it hasn't been added like it would be pretty useful because if you ever get pushed back and you gain the upper hand on your enemy and you take the province that you've annexed moral instantly goes back up and don't need to wait 24 hours till you can move forward and also when you wanna roleplay Germany and annex Austria and the lost land from ww1 and recreate the awful looking Germany we all got and stuck with these days no offense to the Germans and last but not least to get rid of those ugly lines going threw the land i want as my main land. sorry for the horrible spelling
