The humongus amount of land that I apparently lost

I've lost about 260k territory but only played about 170 games...... that's about me losing 1400 territroy every game, how does that happen? Also I've been winning 1 in 3 games so I don't think I'm that bad..... Not even me playing all countries in, selects ussr everytime and loose all my land will my stats be that bad. Is it a bug or am I just that bad.

Are you sure you’ve lost 260k? Are you sure it isn’t 2600? If you are, this may be as a result of a stats bug. The first step would be to clear your browser cache then reload. If the problem still isn’t fixed, switch browsers. If the problem still occurs, submit a support ticket.

Just looked it up, he actually did lose almost 260k. Holy smokes.

In that case, it’s most likely a bug with the stats. It can’t hurt to have a GO check it out.

Stat bugs and numbers going 1k more or just completely going haywire is most definitely a bug and it could be fixed but because not everyone has that issue it goes down on the priority lists.

Stats and acheivements are subject to random perturbations on approximately a biannual basis.

Rest assured, the bystro team will correct the defieciencies on approximately an annual basis.

Has it been like this for quite a while?

There was a bug last year in certain beta games that caused the repetition of notifications that occurred at a particular time.

So if you got let’s say 50 notifications for lost provinces during that period, they were repeated something like 3600 times, making for 180,000 provinces lost. Looks like you had more than that, but you get the idea.

Unfortunately this stats bug was only correctable to a certain extent. Situations like this unfortunately can’t be fixed at this point.

Yeah it has been like that for a while....

If it can't be fixed, Is it possible for my stat to just be reset to a 1.0 ratio and I try to get it back up from there?

Unfortunately it is not. The devs will take a look at this bug on Monday, so hopefully that will resolve your problem.
