The PIn function

How do you use this? Cannot figure it out. I know how rally point works and assumed 'pining' was similar, but it isn't.

So keystroke by keystroke help would be helpful.

I don't know how even to use it, I'm pretty sure it's useless if you ask me, if not, please correct me.

Keystrokes...meaning keyboard shortcuts? Don't think there are any.

And it is useful, you can pin important stacks in different theatres enabling you to jump across the map quickly without needing to search endlessly.
