I have never seen an announcement in paper since I play (but I play less than a year), yet when you cancel it yes, the markets are open again.

Trade Embargo
Hi, as an avid CoW player I notice things in the game.
Like that trade embargoes aren’t being announced in the newspaper for some reason.
Today I just trade embargoed 2 nations in my game, and when I opened the newspaper there was no article about it. However I always remember seeing articles when a trade embargo is made.
Has this changed recently? If so, why? If not, is it a bug?

They changed that behavior in an update a while back iirc, too much newspaper spam on large maps
