trades and recaptures

I was wondering if anyone has looked into a trade system for the computer controlled player that not gold driven.

I have found playing a few games some time my teammates stop playing

I get stuck with a cpu player that I can not make trades with

I know gold is how you pay fro the game so we can play it but there should be some set up to at least trade with allies

also maybe add a relationship block you could by for gold to make a cpu an allance and people could select alliance

during city recapture if you take back a core area of an alliance the production rate would be more then just a normal amount of a captured area owned by a enemy or non alliance.

example if US and France are in alliance and US re takes Paris wouldn't the population be more helpful in production because there under a friendly flag

There is no point in being able to trade with an AI, they would just get confused etc.

As for the second one, this is just silly. If you are being controlled by a foreign government and not the one you elected, you aren't going to be happy, are you.

I think that the computer controlled countries can put trades up on the stock market, so if you don't want to spend your gold just buy what you need off the stock market or put trades up yourself.

I am in a game with 4 active players left, 2 of whom I am at war with. Our countries are all running well and producing lots of resources, yet there are still dozens of trades up on the stock market. That is why I believe that the AI can make trades as well, since there wouldn't be 8 different offers to sell iron available when no one needs it.

The AI can put up trades, yes.
