I am currently in a world 25 player map and I am on negatives in oil. However, I havent had a single offer in the market for oil in 6 days.
This is seriously pissing me off as I cant rebuild my armies
Please can you tell me why this has happened?

the 25 player map doesnt offer many resources. I have played it as 4 different countries, and it is getting tiresome. Goods are usually the one in short supply. I have seen the market go for more than 2 weeks without offering goods for sale. I know a couple of the big countries on that map absolutely have a problem with oil, esp Germany and Japan. They should loosen up the resources on that map a little bit, imho.

Check different times of day, the prime time hours usually see stuff snatched up quickly, but early morning sometimes the AI's have offered stuff and nobody has bought it yet.
I suggest you plan for producing your own oil. Upgrade all your own oil producing areas with L3 infrastructure and L5 industrial complexes, then see if you can capture a double oil producing area and upgrade that.
Winning the war stars with winning the economic war. The bigger your economy the bigger army you can support.
You also need to balance your army to your resources. If you have food surplus then build units that use food and not oil. If you have a manpower shortage look for units that do as much damage using less manpower.

Because the 25 player map is more designed for specialists and not suitable for inexperienced players...

Two ways to approach that map.
1. spend gold to buy resources that you do not have and are not available,
or
2. Use a much smaller army and think small focused conquests to capture the resources you need. If what you need is not produced there, then do not go there.
The last FP I started on that map everyone got 0 units, & 0 industrial complexes to start. I really hope that was a bug, because it sucked. And yes numerous people reported it, including me.
