Troops can heal anywhere in the province

So I can have the troops in the center or on the pathways but just within the province borders?

Also air units are a little different. As long as they’re based out of one of your air bases, they can be anywhere…patrolling over the ocean or an enemy.

Anywhere within the province will do. One thing to keep in mind, only troops in the province center will prevent a revolt. If you’re in the province and it flips at day change, you don’t get the heal.
